Nellie's incessant march east has developed a momentum that we're finding hard to stop. Our relex this morning was to get underway. It was very hard to resist, but resist we did.
Another challenge is getting accustomed to being on the hook again. Not having done it for awhile the senses are dulled. A passing thunderstorm this morning had me on anchor watch from 3 to 4am. A more practiced me would have stayed in the bunk until the boat's motion or the sound of the wind made a watch necessary. Learing is tough. Relearning is just a pain, if only because you know what you don't know.
On the bright side, I should be relearning quickly as the next few days are forecasted to be wet and windy.

We put several miles on the kayaks today but none on Nellie. She's holding at 1443 miles. DBH
